Program notes:
The Hebrew idiom 'karam or vegidim' (קרם עור וגידים) has its origins in a verse from the Book of Ezekiel (37:8), where it has a literal meaning, but today it is used as a representation of abstract ideas materialising and coming into form. The title of 'Sinews and Flesh Came Up Upon Them (II)' is taken from that same verse. Using the inbetweenness facets of sound – which itself isn’t strictly material nor abstract – it sculpts and shapes it into a larger sound tapestry.
