Bio

Yannai Schrire was born in Jerusalem in 2006, starting his piano studies in 2020, and composition the following year. Currently he is studying composition at the Mozarteum University Salzburg under Sarah Nemtsov. In 2023 he won first prize in the National Composition Competition (ages 15-21) of the Israeli Conservatory of Music. He has collaborated with various performers, including Meitar Ensemble, Wolfgang Kogert, and others, and his music has been performed in different venues, including the Limina Festival (2025).

He is currently interested with his compositions in making processes of varying amounts of sound stability.
